Sebastian Welzel is an artist and architect based in Berlin, Germany. He combines sculptural production methods with abstract art to create three-dimensional images. His works are ostensibly minimal and geometrically abstract, but are rendered in space through relief-like structures.
The appearance of the work changes depending on the viewer's perspective; the surrounding light determines the concentration, hue and intensity of the sculpture's colors, and the raised tetrahedron shadows the colors, with the vibrancy of the shapes combining with the shadows of the raised forms.
