
Genta Ishizuka
Genta Ishizuka was born in Kyoto in 1982 and currently lives and works in Kyoto. He received his Bachelor's degree from Kyoto City University of Arts, during which he participated in an exchange program with the Royal College of Art in London in 2006. He graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts in 2008 with a Master's degree in Lacquer Art.
After several solo exhibitions in Kyoto and Osaka, Ishizuka's work has received international recognition and awards, and is in important public collections, including the British Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
