Nadim Karam Nadim karam

Born in Lebanon in 1957, he is an interdisciplinary artist and architect. He studied architecture in Japan under masters such as Tadao Ando, and then moved to Europe to create his artwork, which blends Eastern and Western philosophies, and is known for large-scale public art installations such as The Gesture in Beirut Harbor and ON PARADE in Saudi Arabia. With "Creative Resistance" as his core concept, he explores culture, memory and urban identity through fairy tale-like narratives, and has presented temporary and permanent installations in many cities around the world, such as Melbourne, Tokyo and Dubai, and participated in international exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale.
