Pang Yongjie
Born in Shandong in 1968, he graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Shandong Normal University in 1990, and studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts from 1991-1993. He is recognized as one of the outstanding Chinese artists who advocated the "Post-Modern Abstraction" movement. He has mastered the most important color and figurative abilities of the Neo-Expressionist movement, and at the same time, influenced by traditional Chinese painting, he uses continuous lines and shapes to create works, which ultimately form a painting style that breaks away from the tradition and is very personal.
