Park Jung Ran

Park Jung-ran, an artist and art therapist, talks to us with flowers. The bright screen seems to slowly seep into our minds. Peonies, lily of the valley, and marshmallows are noble and familiar, and you can feel a sense of stability in the harmony of composition and color. The artist recalls that in the past, she used to express sculpture through printmaking. These carvings were crafted by cutting leftover fabrics used by women in ancient times, and the artist admires the joy of our female creations at that time, as well as the desire to wrap clothes together and preserve them. The backgrounds of the sculptures that appear alongside the flowers in several pieces reflect the artist's heart. The purity and nobility of the flowers are revealed through the light and darkness that emphasize each other on the screen, adding warmth and warmth to our hearts.
