Pomme Chan
Born and educated in Bangkok, Pomme received her Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from the University of the Arts, Thailand. After working as a graphic designer in the Bangkok offices of DY&R, a subsidiary of the WPP Group, and Jingxin Group, she moved to the UK in 2002 to study graphic design and communications at the London College of Communication. She has lived and worked in London ever since.
She lived and worked in London until 2013 when she returned to Bangkok to start WhatIf, a design store and café and her own Happy Pomme studio.
Backed by her unique hand-drawing skills, Pomme Chan draws inspiration for her eclectic style from everyday life. Nature, fashion, architecture and the female form feature prominently in her work, and Pomme is also very interested in illustration, with some of her illustrations having been featured in Variety, Digital Arts and The New York Times, among others.
