Born in 1973 in Anyue, Sichuan Province, he graduated from the Fine Arts College of Southwest Normal University, Chongqing, majoring in Chinese Painting in 1996, and graduated from the Department of Chinese Painting of the Fine Arts College of the Nanjing Arts Institute with a Master's Degree in 2001, and then pursued a doctoral degree in Fine Arts under the supervision of Prof. Wang Mengqi in 2007.He worked at Shanghai Painting & Calligraphy Publishing House from 2001-2018, and was the deputy editor-in-chief of the Art Contemporary Magazine. He is now a professional artist living and working in Shanghai and Chongqing.
