David Flores David Flores

David Flores was born and introduced to oil painting by his mother at the age of seven. Since then, David has enjoyed creating art as a muralist, painter and designer. His work translates from walls and canvases to large-scale sculptures and product design. He didn't notice the difference because all that was needed was to create. David is best known for his instantly recognizable mosaic or segmented style, which developed organically after years of creating skateboard graphics. By the age of 18, he had been published internationally and created logos that are still heavily used in the skateboarding industry today. Flores has a relentless need to keep creating. His images are often known as iconic portraits and Americana portraits. The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) acquired the artwork of David Flores in 2006 and placed it in the museum's permanent collection.
