While many artists want to move in an international direction as much as possible, Wang still sticks to his own feeling, using one piece of artwork after another to travel through countless dreamy scenes in traditional China, both ancient and modern, both temple and mountain. But no matter whether it is a figure or an animal, the artist says, "All my works are myself, or a yearning within me."
