Dmytro Shavala, at the age of 15, enrolled in the Yosif Stan`ko Academy to study woodcarving, where he gained specialized woodcarving skills.In 2013, he continued his studies at the Lviv State Academy of Fine Arts, where he received his Master of Fine Arts degree in 2019.
His works focus on the balance and harmony of form and structure, and through his mastery of wood carving and relief carving, he demonstrates a simple and orderly art form that gives his works an inherent sense of stability and beauty.
In terms of color, he is adept at using harmonious color combinations to create a serene and comfortable visual atmosphere through the choice and combination of colors.
