Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Seoul National University, most of her works are expressed through the depiction of pine trees. In Korea, pine trees represent steadfastness, loyalty and eternity. These qualities are attributed to her father, so she tries to symbolize all fathers when painting pine trees. Painting a tree is a process of painting individual lives one by one, a process of living life in silence.
