Susan Chrysler White creates brightly patterned paintings reminiscent of the Op Art movement of the 1960s. Abstract images and patterns take the form of "plants, insects, or mutations of some hybrid future creature. Instead of painting with brushes, Susan pours paint onto canvas and paper. Susan also creates sculptures in this way, using clear acrylic as her surface. She then combines several pieces of acrylic to create dazzling works.
